This week we are beginning our first story in the reading book. We will also have a spelling test and reading test this week. Some of our students received a special complement from the principal. It is great and I hope they continue the positiveness.

I got to meet 12 of my new students and their parents this evening at Open House. It is always great to get a chance to meet some students before the first day of school to ease their nervousness. It also gives me a chance to start putting a face with a name. The classroom is pretty much ready for Monday just a few last minute details.
